DTS to WAV

Turn Blu-ray and home-theater DTS tracks into WAV on your device. The file never leaves the browser.

Frequently asked questions

What is DTS audio?

DTS is a compressed surround soundtrack used on Blu-ray discs and many home-theater releases. Browsers cannot play it natively.

Do you upload my Blu-ray rip?

No. Decoding and encoding run locally with Mediabunny’s DTS WASM decoder.

Does this support DTS-HD Master Audio?

Core DTS tracks in MP4, MKV, and MPEG-TS are supported. If a file has no DTS track, the tool will say so instead of guessing.

Will 5.1 become stereo?

Yes for AAC and MP3 — those formats typically fold surround into a stereo mix. WAV keeps a more faithful PCM dump when the encoder allows it.

Which output should I pick?

AAC for phones and the web, MP3 for universal playback, WAV if you want to edit the track further.

Why is my file rejected?

The source has no DTS audio track, or the browser cannot run WebCodecs. Try Chrome or Edge, or confirm the codec in the FPS / metadata tools.
