Subtitle mux / burn-in tool

Embed SRT/VTT into the video container or burn subtitles into frames. Great for creator delivery, review cuts, and cross-platform publishing.

FAQ

What's the difference between mux and burn-in?

Mux adds a toggleable subtitle track; burn-in renders subtitles directly onto frames permanently.

Do you support SRT?

Yes. We automatically convert SRT to a muxable format.

Why can't I see subtitles in the preview?

Browser support for in-container subtitle tracks varies. Download and verify in a player, or use burn-in mode.

Will it affect quality?

Muxing is usually remux-only and does not change quality; burn-in requires re-encoding and may slightly change quality.

My subtitles are out of sync — what should I do?

Make sure the subtitle timestamps match the exact cut/version. If needed, align the clip first and then mux/burn.

Can I mux subtitles generated from transcription?

Yes. Upload the exported SRT/VTT and mux or burn it into your video.
