Do I need to download the whole HLS stream first?
No. We only fetch segments overlapping the range you set, thanks to lazy loading.
What about live HLS?
Live VOD playlists work for the recorded portion. Use the HLS Live Recorder for live archiving.
How long can the source be?
Output writes to OPFS, so files larger than RAM still work. CPU-bound on long sources.
Are subtitles preserved?
Currently subtitle tracks are not muxed into the output.

Chrome 105+, Edge 105+, Safari 16.4+, Firefox 130+. WebCodecs is required.
