Paste a terminal snippet. Download a demo.

Drop in bash, a console log, or a fenced code block. CutFast turns it into a looping terminal GIF or MP4 — like ray.so, for the command line.

FAQ

Does this run my commands?

No. It never opens a real shell. You paste a transcript; CutFast animates it.

What should I paste?

A bash snippet, a console log, or a fenced ```bash block. Lines with $ % # ❯ are treated as commands.

Can I turn animation off?

Yes. Still mode shows the finished terminal and still exports MP4, GIF, or PNG.

Is this like ray.so?

Same idea — paste code, pick a window, export — except the output can be a video or GIF.

Does anything upload?

No. Preview and encoding run locally with WebCodecs / gifenc.

Can it record nvim or lazygit?

Not in the browser. Paste a transcript instead, or record a .cast elsewhere and restyle later.
